BLOOMFIELD HILLS—The Association for Women in Communications has named the Diva Tech Talk podcast the winner of two AWC Clarion Awards.

For the podcast’s co-founders and co-hosts, Nicole Scheffler and Kathleen Norton-Schock, it was the sixth and seventh Clarion Award respectively.

The podcast, founded in 2015, highlights the lives and careers of both established and emerging women leaders in high-tech fields. Its goal is to inspire diversity and female inclusion in technology, at all ages and career stages.

The podcast was recognized with one award for its illuminating coverage of women’s issues; the second was for furthering innovative and excellent quality podcasting. The co-founders’ focus on achieving parity in the industry, and “extending the voice” of women in tech, has produced a full, fascinating library of women’s lives, challenges, and victories.
