LANSING – PlanetM, in partnership with the North American International Auto Show’s mobility showcase, AutoMobili-D, Powered by PlanetM, announced submissions are now open for the 3rd Annual PlanetM Awards, which will take place on June 10.
“As the global automotive and tech communities converge in Detroit for 2020 NAIAS, there is no better time to acknowledge companies that are making a significant impact on the mobility industry today,” said Amanda Roraff, managing director of PlanetM, the mobility initiative of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. “The PlanetM Awards are a terrific opportunity to highlight the innovating and thought-provoking companies exhibiting at AutoMobili-D, Powered by PlanetM.”
The PlanetM Awards will further extend support for leading mobility enterprises by honoring those developing critical industry advancements across a number of fields. All AutoMobili-D exhibitors are encouraged to submit their best product for recognition in one of the following categories:
- Autonomous Driving
- Connected Car
- eMobility
- Mobility Services
- Smart Cities
Each category winner will go into a final selection round for the PlanetM Best in Show award. Separately, PlanetM will also announce a Startup of the Year award from the exhibiting startups at the show. Awards will be presented at the PlanetM Awards ceremony on June 10, 2020.
“AutoMobili-D continues to grow every year with more exhibitors, amazing technology and better speakers and part of that success is because of our ongoing partnership with PlanetM,” said Rod Alberts, executive director of 2020 NAIAS. “These awards are part of that success because they help to highlight the most innovative technology our exhibitors have to offer.”
