ROYAL OAK – Dr. Tonya Matthews, the CEO of the Michigan Science Center, will be the Mistress of Ceremonies for IoT TechConnect on April 4 at the Troy Marriott. The one-day event will focus on showcasing Michigan Internet Of Things experts, products, services, companies, technologies, and the skills needed to work in IoT. 

Matthews and her team, supported by Monica Wheat of Digerati Girls and Girls That Code, will offer a three-hour STEM workshop for high school students from 1 to 4 pm April 4 at the Troy Marriott. The conference will also explore Automated Vehicles, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Connected Tech, Industrial IoT, Cybersecurity IoT, Smart Cities/Smart Homes, and a special track for entrepreneurs to learn about incubators, accelerators, and business training programs.
