PLYMOUTH — The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center announced the addition of three new members to its board of directors. They are:

  • Patrick Curry, president and partner of Fullerton Tool Co. Inc., a Saginaw-based supplier of carbide cutting tools, and president and owner of Endurance Carbide a carbide cutting tool supplier also based in Saginaw.
  • Peter Hungerford of ADAC Automotive Inc., a Grand Rapids-based auto supplier.
  • Tim Reedy of Lear Corp., a Southfield-based auto supplier.

Curry also serves on the board of the Michigan Manufacturers Association. the Great Lakes Manufacturing Assocaition and Saginaw Future. In the past, Curry was named Michigan Manufacturer of the Year in 2014 by the MMA and received the Michigan Economic Bright Spot award from Corp! Magazine.

Hungerford has served ADAC for more than 19 years, holding leadership positions in sales, engineering and operations. He also serves on the board of Vehicle Access System Technology LLC, a single source global supplier of security/access control products for the motor vehicle industry, and the Minda-VAST Access Systems Board of Directors in India. Additionally, Hungerford is a member of The Center’s West Michigan Manufacturers Council and is actively engaged in the Family Business Alliance.

Reedy has more than 20 years of automotive experience, including driving continuous improvement, managing change and leading operational and technical teams. He is general manager of leather operations at Lear’s Eagle Ottawa in Rochester Hills. He received the 2017 Toyota Achievement Award for Quality, Service & Delivery.

Curry, Hungerford and Reedy succeed three MMTC board members who were term-limited at the end of 2018 — Kevin Alder, CEO and general manager of Brighton NC Machine Corp., a Brighton machining company; David Beemer, COO of Terryberry Inc., a Grand Rapids-based employee recognition and award program manager; and William Henderson of Aircraft Precision Products Inc., an Ithaca-based manufacturer of components for the commercial and military aircraft engine industries.

The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center is dedicated to supporting Michigan manufacturers to work smarter, to compete and to prosper.
