SOUTHFIELD ? Telecom provider LDMI, now a Talk America Company, is looking for more than two dozen professionals, primarily sales people, to join its rapidly growing staff.
Corporate Recruiter Terry Bean said the main focus for LDMI is sales people ? two each in Kalamazoo, Lansing and Grand Rapids, and the Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area, plus a half dozen at its home office in Southfield, in the old American Motors building.
LDMI also is searching for a field operations and DSL product managers, plus market research associates.
?We had 54 sales folks when we started this year and need 70 by the end of June, a 30 percent increase in our sales headcount just in the first half of this year,?? he said. The salary runs from $25,000 to $40,000, but with commissions and bonuses, some sale people at LDMI are making more than $150,000 a year, he said.
?We like to reward our good people handsomely,? he said.
He said the Product Manager salary will be from $90,000 to $95,000 per year plus bonus and options, the operations job pays $55,000 to start, plus bonus, and the market research associate from $45,000 to $50,000 a year.
