DETROIT ? Technology staffing company The Bartech Group on Monday announced the appointment of Othon Herrera as President and Chief Operating Officer. He will report to Jon Barfield, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Herrera will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the Bartech Group and its four brands: Bartech Technical Services, Bartech Workforce Management, Bartech Information Technology Solutions, and Bartech Staffing Services.

Prior to joining Bartech, Herrera was managing director of Operant, a human capital services firm, where he was focused in the areas of performance improvement and market expansion strategies. Previously, he served as president and chief executive officer of Talent Tree, a national provider of commercial, healthcare, and information technology staffing and human capital services in more than 100 markets across the United States.
Herrera has also served as president and chief operating officer of Technisource, formerly IntelliMark, a national provider of information technology staffing and managed services. In this role, Herrera led the integration of 22 acquisitions, and also led IntelliMark?s acquisition of Technisource, which is considered one of the industry?s most successful acquisitions to date.
