LANSING – In moving the Strategic Fund to the new Department of Talent and Economic Development, Governor Rick Snyder also reconstituted the fund’s board.

The new members of the board: Shaun Wilson of Grosse Pointe Farms for a term expiring February 28, 2016; Jim Walsh of Ada for a term expiring February 28, 2017; Paul Anderson of Perry for a term expiring February 28, 2018; Terri Jo Umlor of Kingsley and Jody Vanderwel of Holland for terms expiring February 28, 2019.

All were members of the prior iteration of the board.

The appointments are subject to Senate advice and consent and future appointees will serve four-year terms.

In addition, Larry Koops of Holland, representing the Senate majority leader; DTED Director Steve Arwood; Treasurer Kevin Clinton; and Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Director Mike Zimmer are all appointed for terms expiring at the pleasure of the governor.
