LANSING – Bernie Porn of EPIC-MRA, Kelly Rossman-McKinney of Truscott Rossman, and Bill Ballenger, publisher of The Ballenger Report, all agree with statements made on last week’s MIRS Monday Podcast – the 2016 presidential race is effectively over.

“I think so,” said Porn. “But there have been so many weird things happening that you have to qualify by saying barring a health issue, which did affect Hillary (Clinton). After Sept. 11, her numbers tumbled when people thought she was of questionable health.”

Porn also cited an unforeseen and devastating e-mail revelation from Wiki-Leaks as another unknown. He pointed out that there are now states that were pretty solidly red that are in play. He suspects Donald Trump will still win Georgia, but believes Arizona could go to Clinton. “All the other battleground states look like they’re leaning toward Hillary.”

“I see absolutely no path for the Republican nominee,” said Rossman-McKinney.

Ballenger agreed it is “almost certainly over.”

“The only question is by what margin? And, how much of the vote is captured by Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein as opposed to the two major party nominees,” said Ballenger.
