GRAND RAPIDS – If you’re looking to get into the physical security business, Allied Universal is looking for you.

Allied Universal is seeking full-time, part-time, supervisory and entry level security professionals to join its team. The multi-billion dollar has the largest private security force in North American some 150,000 strong.

In March, Allied Universal will be joining job fairs and community events to recruit entry-level physical security employees with not only wages that run from $9.25 an hour to providing company benefits that include medical and dental coverage, life insurance, 401(k) and bonus plans, holidays and more.

On March 14, Allied Universal will host a professional security personnel hiring event on March 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Grand Rapids Community Job Fair, 2950 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, Michigan.

Qualified candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalency

* Be at least 18 years old (21 years old for positions that require driving, with valid license)

* Successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test

* Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
