ANN ARBOR – West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum will host its 29th Annual Meeting on Monday, June 27 at the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation. Joining us on MITech TV is Rose Spickler to provide more details for this live event. No virtual attendance is available.

The Annual Meeting will include an update on the organization, recognition of the 2022 President’s Award honoree, and a program highlighting key sustainability trends for the region, with a focus on electric vehicles, decarbonization and circularity.

This year’s panel of speakers includes: Congressman Peter Meijer, the U.S. representative for Michigan’s 3rd congressional district since 2021, will address how the federal government can lead or support public and private sector efforts to address climate change and create a circular economy.

Liesl Eichler Clark, Director of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy, will introduce the MI Healthy Climate Plan and discuss how the effort will benefit businesses and institutions in West Michigan and Michigan. She will also provide an update on key happenings at the agency.
