ANN ARBOR – Growing industrial hemp was made legal in the 2018 Farm Act. But figuring out how to grow it in Michigan, and building the infrastructure needed to transform it into the 20,000 products that can be made from hemp, has proven to be challenging, Dave Crabill, president of iHempMichigan, admits.

But the business upside is also enormous, he said, not only for farmers but all those support businesses needed. One way to find out more about its potential is to attend the iHemp Midwest Hemp & Cannabis Expo at the Lansing Center May 20 and 21. We even offer a hefty discount on exhibiting.
