DETROIT – Policy and Commerce: Water Management Solutions in the Great Lakes Region is SMSBF’s next Member-Guest Event.

Since the Flint water crisis, we’ve become more aware of just how important water is. As Michigan residents, we live near almost 20 percent of the world’s freshwater. Many signs point to an impending worldwide water crisis. What roles do policy and commercial solutions play in averting such a crisis?

Some have suggested we use the Great Lakes to provide water for those who live outside of the region, ad there are those who believe otherwise, which begets the question: What is the best way to manage this precious resource?

Join SMSBF as we discuss water management solutions on Thursday, September 29. Our speakers will deliver thought-provoking presentations on the water management options available to us.
