DEARBORN – If you want to learn more about Modeling, Simulation and Visualization than there’s a national conference on Sept. 26 at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn that you will want to attend.

The Modeling, Simulation & Visualization Coalition is hosting its national conference in Michigan, the first time this meeting has been held outside of the Virginia, where the theme will be treating these digital tools as a rapidly growing industry. The focus of this year’s meeting is “Modeling, Simulation & Visualization: Revolutionizing analytics, manufacturing, healthcare, and product design – and the need to train the workforce to support it.”

Rick Darter, President and CEO of Rave Computer in Sterling Heights, is the Michigan conference co-chair.

“The meeting will feature two speakers and two panel discussions,” he said. “The first speaker, from NVIDIA, will discuss the topics of Deep Learning/Artificial Intelligence. The second, from Mackevision, will discuss uses the of CGI, “Digital Product Experience from Design to Marketing.”  Additionally, the first panel will focus on Healthcare Modeling and Simulation led by Dr. Pamela Boyers Ph.D from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
