FERNDALE – Cybersecurity experts Dan Lohrmann and Richard Stiennon join M2 (Squared) TechCast co-hosts Mike Brennan and Matt Roush to discuss a federal judge’s order to help the FBI hack the iPhone used by Syed Farook, the gunman in the San Bernardino, California, shooting that killed 14 people and injured 22 others in December. Apple CEO Tim Cook has refused and the FBI contends it is a matter of national security.

Lorhmann and Stiennon also discuss Nitro Zeus an elaborate plan for massive cyberattacks on Iran’s critical infrastructure during the early days of the Obama administration, according to a documentary that premiered this week. Nitro Zeus was aimed to disable Iran’s electrical grid, air defenses and communications services.
