SOUTHFIELD – Girls Solve-IT Powered by Ford, is a state-wide technology competition for Michigan girls in grades 4 – 8. The students work together in teams that are given tech quests to complete, which qualify them for the final round and potential cash prizes.

The application window for 2024 closes Sunday, Feb. 9, 2024

COMPETITION DATES: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2024 – FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2024 

SOLVE THE QUESTS: 

Work together in small teams to complete the educational tech quests using the BirdBrain Technologies Finch 2.0 robot. 

During the course of the competition, students will learn to code the Finch 2.0 robot by having their robot complete a series of Quests. Each team will receive a kit containing their own robot as well as any materials needed to complete the competition. Robots must be returned to MCWT at the end of the competition.

Teams that complete all quests on time will compete to win cash prizes.
No prior experience necessary!
