The City of Detroit has a long and growing list of resources for small business owners looking to put roots down. Whether it’s Motor City Match, Hatch, NEIdeas, there’s plenty of opportunity for business owners.
Hatch Detroit is one of the top grant competitions that happens every year, giving away $50K to one lucky winner. Any brick and mortar business can apply to receive this award to help open your doors up inside the City of Detroit. Past winners have included Batch Brewery in Corktown, Live Cycle Detroit in West Village, the famous Sister Pie, and many more.
Out of all the applications, a top ten will be selected. Through social media voting the top few will then go on to the final round.
