FARMINGTON HILLS – TiE Detroit and AutoNebula, a business accelerator and investment fund focused on connected transport, announced the six finalists of Ignition Lab, Connected Car-Mobility Contest for Start-ups. The competition crowns the best entrepreneurs and start-ups from Connected Transport ecosystem.
The contest, launched in August, received entries from companies across the globe. The contest emphasized connected cars, mobility in Auto Data Analytics, On-Board Diagnostics, M2M to M21 based solutions, Vehicle Robotics Solutions, Cyber Security, IOT based solutions for Automotive Industry, Telematics and Infotainment. The entries were evaluated in detail by a panel of senior auto executive, TiE mentors, AutoNebula mentors and venture capitalists.

These six finalists will compete before an audience of auto executives, venture capitalists, angel investors, Silicon valley technologists, TiE mentors and AutoNebula leaders during TiECon Midwest 2016, Michigan’s largest ongoing conference for entrepreneurs.
The competition will take place 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, October 27 at The Henry (300 Town Centre Drive, Dearborn). The winners will be eligible to receive $50,000 investment, support services, and mentorship from AutoNebula’s extensive network.
