DETROIT – As businesses increasingly use artificial intelligence, two questions are becoming critical: Can AI systems find the company online, and who controls the information those systems use?
Robert Skinner of Michigan-based NeuroAIgent joined MITech TV to discuss how the company is helping businesses prepare for an AI-driven economy—from improving their visibility in AI-generated answers to keeping sensitive corporate knowledge private and under their control.
The conversation begins with Answer Engine Optimization, or AEO. Traditional search engine optimization helps companies appear in Google search results. AEO focuses on whether artificial intelligence platforms can accurately identify a company, understand its products and expertise, and include that business in answers generated for users.
Skinner also explains NeuroAIgent’s Central Brain, a persistent knowledge layer designed to retain an organization’s information and context beyond an individual AI conversation. Instead of repeatedly uploading documents and explaining the same projects every time a new AI session begins, Central Brain is designed to preserve that organizational memory.
According to NeuroAIgent, that knowledge can also be used across multiple AI models and applications. This means a business would not have to lock its accumulated knowledge into one AI vendor. The company says it has demonstrated separate AI systems running on different computers while sharing a controlled knowledge workflow.
Privacy is another central part of the discussion. NeuroAIgent says its technology can operate locally—including in private or air-gapped environments where sensitive information is not sent to a public cloud AI service. Potential users include law firms, regulated companies, researchers and businesses handling proprietary data.
The larger issue, Skinner says, is ownership. AI models, vendors, applications and employees may change, but the organization’s accumulated knowledge should remain with the organization.
Watch the MITech TV interview to learn how NeuroAIgent sees AEO, persistent AI memory, model portability and locally controlled artificial intelligence changing the way businesses manage—and protect—their most valuable information.
