The (ISC)2 Security Leadership Seminar Series assists information security professionals in preparing for the threats and issues they face today, as well as those that will come tomorrow.

The late morning tracks include:
Track 1 – Privacy Protections for Your Clients, Carol Romej of Butzel Long; Track 2 – Application Integrity. with Mike Kosonog of Deloitte & Touche; and Track 3 will be announced. It will be presented by Don Gottwald, Phd, PMP. Professor, Walsh College.
The early after session also includes three tracks: Track 1 – Roadmap of Information Security Management with Tim Bates of GM; Track 2 – Business Impacts and Lessons Learned from the 2005 Hurricane Season, with Sandra K. Allison, Manager, Deloitte and Touche, AERS; and Track 3 – Sarbanes Oxley Compliance. An increase in the regulatory compliance requirements for businesses has given rise to the need for more streamlined and automated processes and controls. Through the use of various technologies, total cost of compliance can be reduced and efficiencies in business processes realized.

Derek Huffman is a senior in Ernst & Young?s Technology Security Risk Services. Over the past several years, he has assisted numerous Fortune 500 companies in automating business processes and controls and advised clients in effective data mining and analysis solutions. Education: M.S.B.A. Michigan State University
Lee J. Kushner is the founder and CEO of L. J. Kushner and Associates, L.L.C. and is a recruitment expert in the areas of Information Security, and Secure Electronic Commerce. Mr. Kushner and the firm’s associates are regular attendees at conferences across the country. L. J.
