BLOOMFIELD HILLS – The Ides Of March could bring good news from two Great Lakes Angels portfolio companies, which will update investors on the progress they’ve made in the past year to achieve their milestones. The updates will come at an evening dinner meeting for accredited investors scheduled for March 15.
GLA will have some investors in the two deals discuss the valuation of the company when they went in the deal, how long it took them to close, what kind of interface they have had since the investment and their feeling about the company at this time. Plus the companies will show any milestones achieved since the investment.
This will help new investors become comfortable with the process and roles they can play. Angel investors have already provided the foundation for some of this country?s most exciting new businesses. Angels are poised to play a vital role in the economic growth of Michigan and the region.
