GRAND RAPIDS ? The seven sources of capital for new ventures will be the topic of a seminar hosted by StartupCentral Jan. 17 at the University Club in downtown Grand Rapids.
The two-hour seminar will conclude with a workshop where participants will discuss their experiences in seeking funding for a variety of companies.

The seminar will be held from 6 to 8 pm in the University Club on the 10th Floor of the Fifth Third Bank Building, 111 Lyon Street NW, in downtown Grand Rapids. Parking is free if you park in the Fifth Third parking lot and, as you drive in, tell the person at the gate you are there for the IdeaWorks Start-up Central meeting in the University Club.
