KALAMAZOO ? The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center will offer CEOs, presidents or owners of growth-oriented businesses in Michigan the opportunity to work together in small groups through a innovative
peer-to-peer problem-solving process that has proven to provide high-impact results for entrepreneurs.
The program, called the Michigan PeerSpectives Network, will provide a demonstration on Dec. 8 at 7:30 am at the Fetzer Center on the campus of Western Michigan University. The demonstration is sponsored by Yeo & Yeo and WMU.
The Michigan PeerSpectives Network roundtable model uses a structured method of group problem solving and idea generation to foster innovative thinking and creative solutions to real problems that are challenging members of the group. Each group is led by a trained facilitator who provides the structure that delivers real results for participants. This is not another training program or speaker-focused seminar.
Besides the MISBTDC, the other key sponsor is the Edward Lowe Foundation. The Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation are providing partial scholarships for eligible entrepreneurs.
