KALAMAZOO ? Government applications specialist Manatron has gone into the online auctions business with the help of new strategic partner, Bid4Assets, an online advertising and auction services for federal, state and local governments.

The new alliance means Manatron can immediately deliver Internet tax sale software to its Florida client base.

Bid4Assets has worked with more than 50 government agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense, to capture the proceeds from the sale of forfeited or surplus property. Bid4Assets’ auction technology also makes them an advertising and auction service provider for county tax sales.
