NOVI – The City of Novi is hosting on Sept. 24 its Green Street project, which provides local businesses and organizations the opportunity to showcase their green products and services.
Event highlights include City Open House (including representatives from every department), Police Department Open House, Fire Department Demonstrations, Kids? Fun Zone, and Green Street. Each vendor along Green Street is provided a 10 foot square tented outdoor space. Organizations who provide free services and information will display at no cost. Businesses that sell products (on-site or at their facility) will be charged a $75 booth fee. Green Street participants will be recognized in event promotional items.
The City of Novi is committed to environmentally sustainable initiatives and is proud to provide resources and information to members of the Novi community via ?green pages? at cityofnovi.org, annual Earth Day, Arbor Day, and River Day celebrations, adoption of solar panel and wind turbine ordinances, continuing efforts to increase sidewalk connectivity, and more. The Green Street at Fall for Novi is another great avenue for sharing eco-friendly information to the 1,500 people who attend annually and we sincerely hope you will join us.
