GRAND RAPIDS ? The Iserv Technology Group Monday announced it has acquired a couple thousand customers in Northwestern Michigan from 1010internet, based in Scottville east of Ludington.
The acquisition was done through ITG?s Iserv operating company, one of the largest independent ISPs in Michigan. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The agreement provides Iserv with 1010internet?s current customer base in the cities of Ludington, Scottville, Manistee, Bear Lake and Custer.

This is the second 1010internet acquisition for ITG. In June 2004, the Company acquired the eastern Michigan-area 1010internet customers in the cities of Bad Axe, Bay City, Ubly, Standish and the surrounding areas.
