Rosette, a member of GLIMA Southeast, will have his The Freya Project published in December through Bloomfield Hills publisher Countinghouse Press.

?The publisher, Lynn Charla, found me,?? Rosette said Monday. ?We were both involved in a writer?s group in Berkley. We went out to dinner one night, he asked me if I would mind if my book would be the fourth he plans to publish? I didn?t take long to say yes.?

Countinghouse Press, a new Michigan publishing house, specializes in short-run productions. The plan now calls for a first edition of 2,500 copies, both in market paperback and hard cover editions. The former costs $17.95 and the later $29.95.

Rosette also is planning a limited edition of 125 copies, signed, numbered and encased in slip covers for $46.95. But wait, there?s more. He?s also selling a poster of the book cover for $9.50.

?Heck I might just throw the poster in for anyone who buys the book,? Rosette confessed. ?The book took me 18 months to write. I love to write and read fiction. You can get lost in a book easier than you do on vacation.?

Rosette?s muse, he said, was the IT industry in Michigan. Besides GLIMA, he?s actively involved in InternetTroy. The plot is based on video conferencing. He thought, ?Wouldn?t it be great if someone saw a murder around the world over a video conferencing link and no one believed him.? Well only the killer, who realized too late he?d been captured on video. He spends the rest of the story tracking down the only witness to the murder.
