BLOOMFIELD HILLS – That?s a question worth pondering by every entrepreneur who has poured his savings and his soul into a new business that will benefit the world, and also make him rich.
Suppose your company needs capital in order to grow, or outmaneuver competition, or engineer a new product? Will the investor who steps forward support you, or subvert you? Once his money is paying the bills, will it still be your company in fact, or just in appearance? By enlisting an investor, are you assuring your future, or losing control over it? What really can happen?
Strategic business advisor Ted Wosniak answers that question at the Entrepreneur & Investor Exchange forum on the November 8th, when he describes ?What to Consider When Choosing an Investor.?
Wosniak knows. He is an experienced chief executive, company president and chief information officer. He has been there, done that. Currently, he is managing director of The Kainzow Group, a consultancy for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and strategy development. Wosniak also serves on the Advisory Board of the CIO Group, an IT consulting firm with global clients.
What else happens at this November 8th forum at the Fox and Hounds restaurant, Woodward at Long Lake Road in Bloomfield Hills? The program begins at 5 p.m. with an hour of networking and displays of new business opportunities. Following Wosniak?s 6 p.m. commentary, the principals of three young business firms will make 10-minute showcase presentations. Each will be critiqued by a panel of business strategists. The evening concludes with more networking, coffee, and dessert delicacies from the Fox and Hounds famous pastry chefs.
