DETROIT ? Anyone with used computers, screens, CPUs, fax machines and copiers can drop them off at Goodwill Industries of Great Detroit on Dec. 3 to help Goodwill pay for its programs and services.
This is a free service of RECONNECT Michigan, a partnership program of Goodwill Michigan and Dell Inc. for consumers to reuse and responsibly recycle unwanted electronics. RECONNECT Michigan will refurbish or recycle the equipment.
The hardware drop off runs from 9 am to 3 pm Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Goodwill offices, 3111 Grand River Ave., Detroit (drive to the back of the building).
Goodwill provides people who have disabilities and other barriers to employment with opportunities to become independent, self-supporting citizens through training, work experience and employment in the community.
