TROY ? ArvinMeritor?s Senior Director of Government Affairs, Jerry Rush, has a new title ? he?s now the president of Automation Alley, the Southeast Michigan technology marketing group.

In this role he will be responsible for overseeing the board of directors, as well as serving as Automation Alley?s official representative at community and Alley events. He serves a two-year term. He replaces Fred Hoffman of DaimlerChrysler who serves on the board as immediate past president.

?Our board of directors are the core decision-makers at Automation Alley and play a key role in our growth, program development and member services,? said Beth Utton, director of the Member Consortium. ?I know Jerry Rush and the new board will continue to work at showcasing Southeast Michigan as the technology center it is.?

Board officers serving two-year terms include:
