LANSING ? Jennifer Nash, a vice president at Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, will talk about the critical steps she took to climb the ranks to a powerful IT role at a special program presented Sept. 26 by the Michigan Council for Women in Technology.

The program will be held at the University Club of Michigan State University, 3435 Forest Road, Lansing. It is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m.

Nash, vice president, employee and administrative services for Accident Fund, played a key role in the company’s technology charge into the 21st century as vice president of information services. In this interactive discussion, Nash will explain the critical steps she took enabling her to climb the ranks to a powerful IT role, as well as detail how attendees can use similar tactics to propel their own careers. Special guest Teri Takai, CIO for the State of Michigan, will kick off the event and introduce Nash.
