Survey: Consumers Expect To Ditch Gasoline Cars For EVs Within 10 Years

LIVONIA—A study show consumers in Europe and the United States expect Battery Electric Vehicles to become viable alternative to internal combustion engines over the coming decade. Though 70 percent of Americans plan to buy a gasoline-powered car within the next year, just 37 percent expect to make that same purchase in five to 10 years.
