LANSING- ACD will be building additional fiber-optic cable in Traverse City and can provide gigabit fiber-optic Internet and broadband services to businesses near the fiber routes.

ACD is also expanding its fiber network in other Northern Michigan towns including Mackinaw City and Petoskey. ACD already operates networks in Gladwin, Gaylord, Cheboygan, Alpena, and Ludington.

“We are really grateful for this opportunity to expand our capacity and services to Northern Michigan and build long-lasting relationships with residents and businesses in Traverse City” said ACD’s CEO Kevin Schoen.

ACD also provides 1000 Mbps Internet to homes and businesses with Active Ethernet over fiber. Active Ethernet is faster and much more reliable than our competitors antiquated cable TV and DSL networks, and less robust fiber GPON networks.
