PLYMOUTH – Robert Lyscas has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer at the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, Charlie Westra, formerly Growth Services Program Manager, as been promoted to Director of Manufacturing Services.

Previously, Lyscas served as Vice President of Manufacturing Services for five years. He now is responsible for overseeing seven departments including Manufacturing Services, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Research Services and Facilities.  

 The Center also has promoted Charlie Westra, formerly Growth Services Program Manager, to Director of Manufacturing Services, where he will manage the organization’s team of 12 client-focused consultants and trainers. Westra also will continue his role as a consultant and instructor, providing expertise in the areas of Supervisor Skills and Leadership Development.

 The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center is an organization dedicated to supporting Michigan manufacturers to work smarter, to compete and to prosper.
