LANSING – Michigan Public Service Commission Chairman Dan Scripps joined Matt Roush and Mike Brennan on MITechTV to update the latest report on Winter energy supplies.
The good news is suppliers are ample and prices are steady if not trending downward.
He also talked about new Michigan legislation that allows the MPSC to intercede on disputes about where wind and solar farms can be located if the proposed sites meet stiff resistance from local government authorities.
Scripps also clarified new energy legislation that will require the state’s utilities to use only clean non carbon emitting energy sources by 2040.
