DETROIT — The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Detroit chapter will host its annual Girls Engineering Exploration (GEE) Day Saturday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Michigan Science Center, 5020 John R St., Detroit.

The event is a free, full day of interactive workshops and demonstrations that aims to expose girls in grades 4 through 6 to various fields of engineering and technology through hands-on activities led by volunteer female engineers.

There are a few student spaces still available: attendees must register by Saturday, Feb. 23 at tinyurl.com/GEE2019.
