SOUTHFIELD – Keeping sensitive personal data safe for customers and clients is a top priority for every business and organization. Failing at cybersecurity can mean huge financial losses and damaged reputations.

On Thursday, Sept. 14, the public can hear the latest tips on keeping data secure at an event at Lawrence Technological University, as the “Leaders and Innovators” event series begins for another academic year.

The discussion will be moderated by Murray Feldman, business editor at WWJ Newsradio 950, which produces the event series with LTU. Panelists scheduled to appear include David Derigiotis, director of professional liability and corporate vice president at the Southfield insurance brokerage Burns & Wilcox, and Sheila Marable, CTP, vice president and treasury management officer for business banking at PNC Bank.
