DETROIT – It’s that time of year already! Lots of applications are opening up for summer accelerator programs. Techstars Mobility in Detroit is open now for their next summer class of tech startups.

The Techstars Mobility program is specifically seeking entrepreneurs with an idea to innovate in transportation, though they define mobility broadly seeking new ways to move people and products. Director Ted Serbinski also says: “We look for software, hardware, and advanced materials businesses across all stages of development — pre-seed, seed, Series A and later. Because of the 8 corporate partnerships, no startup is “too far along” to see a huge benefit from participation in the program.”

The program is sponsored by Ford, Magna, and other major area corporations and is hosted in Dowtown Detroit at Ford Field.  Here’s a look at the first class of ten startups who went through their program, and some more information from Techstars Mobility Director Ted Serbinksi on this year’s program.

Make sure to prepare and get your application in.
