GRAND RAPIDS – Mobility – a word we’ve been hearing more and more lately, but what does it really mean? In terms of connected transportation one might assume it would be focused on the autonomous vehicle – and that certainly is part of it. but it’s much more than that. It’s about getting goods and people from Point A to Point B, using vehicles for personal use, fleet vehicles, public transit, ride-sharing, bicycles, car-sharing, self-driving cars, planes, trains, and any other form of motorized transport. It often includes an on-demand component, and it also includes factoring in the infrastructure needed to support this new Mobility dynamic.

The TiE Detroit track on Connected Mobility on Thursday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m. will bring together top industry thought leaders from to share their expertise about Mobility and what types of opportunities exist in this field for entrepreneurs, and to answer questions from the audience related to these topics.

Chairperson of the Mobility track and Moderator of the Mobility Panel, Linda Daichendt, Executive Director of the Mobile Technology association of Michigan, joins Melissa Birnie to share details on the mobility track.
