Internet, Catalogue Sales Tax Reimposed By Michigan

LANSING Legislation giving Michigan authority once more to participate in the 42-state sales tax project was signed into law Monday giving Michigan a standardized system to collect sales and use taxes on catalog and Internet sales. Michigan had been part of the initial development of the project, but the state's authority to participate had expired.
