ROYAL OAK – Long-time auto expert David Cole kicks joins M2 TechCast co-hosts Mike Brennan and Matt Roush to talk about what technology caught his attention at the North American International Auto Show. Battery technology was one, but the cost per kilowatt hour remains high, he said. The plug-in hybrid, however, that extends the range with liquid fuel, has gained wide acceptance.
Cole, the chairman of AutoHarvest, Chair Emeritus of the Center for Auto Research, and Chair Building America’s Tomorrow, also cited autonomous technology, advanced materials, technical talent, and last, but not least, what the new Trump Administration’s auto policies will be.
