ANN ARBOR – FLO announced it will build an electric vehicle charger manufacturing plant in Auburn Hills, a $3 million investment that is expected to create 133 direct, indirect, and induced jobs in Michigan in 2023 as a result of the manufacturing facility activities. That breaks down to 125 jobs created from operations and maintenance and 8 from construction and retrofitting activities.

Jobs related to the manufacturing facility include electricians, operations managers, iron and steel workers, quality assurance managers, industrial engineers, and semiconductor technicians

Michigan will be FLO’s first U.S. manufacturing facility and will produce 250,000 EV chargers by 2028 for the U.S. market, the company predicts.

FLO spokesman Cory Bullis joins Matt and Mike on MITech TV to provide more details on this project in this video interview.
