Harvard Astronomer Contends On CNN That Interstellar Object Could Be Alien Craft
BOSTON - A Harvard astronomer explained why an unidentified object detected this summer could potentially be an alien spacecraft. Avi Loeb, the chair of the university's astronomy department, appeared Thursday on "CNN This Morning" to discuss speculation about the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object, which was first spotted on July 1 by the Deep Random Survey remote telescope in Chile.
