ZEELAND ? Cell-phone software developer Crayon Interface has raised $1 million from an investment group led by backers from Memphis, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia.
Crayon Interface develops software and network solutions that let cell phones to monitor and control home, vehicle and office environments. The Company also offers software and network service for event notification applications, including package deliveries, banking services and workforce monitoring.

This fall, Crayon Interface, along with JBS Technologies of Steubenville, Ohio, will be launching CellSTART, a cellular-enabled vehicle security and remote start system that allows users to monitor and control vehicles from any location through their cell phone networks.
