KALAMAZOO If you have a technology or life sciences company that will soon need seed funding, Southwest Michigan First has a forum that could get you that money. Its called Venture Tuesday.
Each month, three to four emerging businesses present their business plan and marketing strategy to an audience of 75 to 100 venture capitalists, business leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs. Audience members gain a first hand perspective on what it takes to start a company and what the venture capital community looks for when considering an investment. Everyone is encouraged to participate in post-presentation discussion to provide the entrepreneur with valuable feedback on their new business concept.
The next Venture Tuesday is scheduled for July 6 at the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center. The session runs from 9 to 11 am and lunch is provided.
Directions: From I-94 West Take 131 North to Stadium Drive – go east (right) and turn right at Drake road. Follow Drake into the Park. The building will be on the right with free parking out front.
