TROY ? Long time Automation Alley Member Consortium Director Elizabeth Utton has resigned to become a vice president at John Bailey & Associates public relations, an early Automation Alley member.
Utton has played a key role in the development of Automation Alley, a technology marketing organization, since the group was formed in September 1999.
?Automation Alley is now a successful technology business organization that stands as a model for the state of Michigan,?? said Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers. ?Beth?s talents and skill set will be greatly missed.?
Rogers said Utton?s departure comes at a time when he has been in the initial stages of planning a reorganization of the staff and their related responsibilities. He now plans to accelerate that process.
?We have a new strategic plan which will assist in developing a fresh look at our staff, ensuring that our personnel is appropriately positioned in terms of our current and future objectives,?? he said in a memo to Automation Alley member companies. ?I will apprise you of these recommendations once they are completed.?
