GRAND RAPIDS – US Signal has expanded its lit fiber network into Lansing, adding another 50-route-mile SONET ring and four new central office locations to its fiber optic rings that now serve seven cities in Michigan and Indiana.
New Lansing central office locations include Lansing northwest, Lansing south, Okemos and East Lansing.
US Signal also includes more than 60 points-of-presence on 2,500 route miles of long-haul fiber connecting first-, second- and third-tier markets in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. The company operates 780 route miles on its long haul backbone in Michigan.
