LANSING ? GEE! Communications and Network Solutions will be acquired by Strategic Products and Services, a New Jersey-based provider of data and voice communications products. Terms were not disclosed.
The pending acquisition of GEE! will expand SPS?s market presence into Michigan and Wisconsin and strengthen its existing Chicago market coverage. SPS? new offices will be in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Marquette, St. Joseph and Chicago. Shawn Grady and the current GEE! senior management team have joined SPS and will lead SPS?s Midwest operations.
?For nearly 10 years, GEE! has been passionate about serving customers,? Grady said. ?We have built a successful company providing
communications solutions to our customers. We see this joining with SPS as a means to expand our Mid-West business, better serve our customers and provide great growth opportunities for our employees.?
The transaction, subject to the completion of due diligence and other items of closing, is scheduled to close on June 30.
