LANSING – Michigan small business owners who developed a new, innovative product or service that earned revenue for the first time during 2006 can earn statewide recognition by entering the Innovation Awards contest, but they must submit their entries by Nov. 15.
The Innovation Awards are part of the Michigan Celebrates Small Business awards program. Awards will be presented April 12, 2007, at the Michigan Celebrates Small Business event and dinner at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing.
Award categories include industrial innovation, technology innovation, consumer product innovation, consumer service innovation, or business-to-business service innovation.
