TROY – Do you have or do you design web sites with killer graphics, great content or innovative technology? You could be a 2008 winner of a coveted Helen eWard for Web Excellence. Any Michigan website is eligible. But the submission deadline is September 5.

Just like a Tony or an Oscar, the Helen competition is a credible competition to celebrate greatness within an industry. The Helens honor worthy web sites across Michigan.

Winners will be announced and honored at a Troy Chamber after-hours networking celebration on October 22, emceed by Carol Cain, Detroit Free Press columnist and community affairs and editorial director for WWJTV/CW50.

This competition, now in its 9th year, showcases the talent of local agencies, web design firms and individuals who use creativity to help businesses succeed and stand out on the web.

A panel of 30 expert judges (three for each category), ranging from technology reporters and marketing professionals to company CEOs and web experts, will select the 2008 winners in the following categories:
