ADA – Online mall Quixtar announced Wednesday that Elisabeth, by Liz Claiborne, has become its newest Partner Store, joining more than a hundred retailers that have joined forces with the etail site since it was launched in Sept. 1999. Quixtar is owned by Alticor, formerly Amway.
The biggest wrinkle on the Quixtar site is customers have to buy through middle men, what Quixtar calls Independent Business Owners. IBOs earn income based on purchases made at elisabeth.com by themselves and others they’ve registered with Quixtar. This new Partner Store will only be available to customers in the United States.
Elisabeth.com specializes in women’s apparel and accessories. Elisabeth carries brand name clothing such as Liz Claiborne, Sigrid Olsen, and Emma James. Elisabeth shoppers can search for clothing by item or use a feature that shows outfits put together by designers.
